LiveData is a broadcast graphics and overlay engine operated by We Are Live (WAL), a production company based in Nigeria. When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean WAL.
Our platform allows broadcast professionals to create live data-driven overlays for use in OBS, vMix, H2R Graphics, and similar software.
Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you are invited to a workspace, we also collect the password you set.
Payment information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Paystack or Flutterwave. We do not store your card number or bank details — those are held securely by the payment processor. We store the payment reference, plan purchased, amount, and date.
Workspace data: We store the overlay layers, JSON data, imported content, and uploaded assets you create within your workspace.
Usage data: We may log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to maintain and improve the service.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails without your consent.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and workspace content are permanently removed within 30 days.
Payment records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in. These are required for the platform to function and are not used for advertising. We do not use any tracking or analytics cookies.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Payment keys are stored in server environment variables, not in the database.
While we take security seriously, no system is 100% immune to breaches. We will notify affected users promptly if a breach occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of LiveData after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
